Ella Tschopik

Ella Tschopik is the IT Help Desk Supervisor at MERIT in the School of Education, where she has been since 2015. Her non-traditional career path spans roles in volunteer management, in-home family child care, and seven summers working at a camp. Ella holds a BA with Honors from Alverno College, a unique women’s college in Milwaukee known for its “no desks, no tests, no grades” approach. She majored in Psychology, with minors in Theater and Adult Education/Training. In early 2024, Ella served as Program Co-Chair for the ACM SIGUCCS Conference. Outside of work, Ella is an active Girl Scout leader for two troops and enjoys bird watching, photography, and crafting with her Cricut. She lives with her husband and two daughters.
