Jose Valdez is an IT support professional with a background in customer service and relationship management. Jose graduated from Madison Area Technical College with an Associate Degree in Front End Web Development, and is currently planning on finishing his bachelors at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a focus on applied computing. He recently completed the Universities of Wisconsin System IT Leaders Program, facilitated by MOR Associates.

Currently, Jose works at the DoIT Help Desk as a general support specialist, where his work lies in problem resolution, knowledge base management, and quality assurance. His role includes collaborating with cross-functional support for the Web Platform/Services team. Previously, Jose organized programs for the Department of Continuing Studies, where he leveraged his skills in scheduling, social media management, and event promotion, working primarily as a program coordinator for the 36th annual Distance Teaching and Learning conference. Jose is proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Microsoft Office 365, and he is a strategic thinker committed to driving process improvements and fostering inclusive environments.
